David Turbridge

David Turbridge has this to say about his design work, "I make forms of elemental simplicity.....I work within the limits of what I have and know, simplicity and low impact, natural materials and processes, leaving a delicate footprint." It is the perfect written expression of this work. It makes sense that he graduated from Newcastle University in Northern England in 1972 with a degree in Naval Architecture (boat design). All those ribs in his design speak of wooden boat building. You should visit his site, not only to see his work but to read about his amazing life. I'll give you a hint, magine sailing around the world for five years with the people you love.
