Light Emitting Wallpaper

Fabulous design, light emitting wallpaper. As long as it is "off" this appears to be ordinary wallpaper. When "on", you have a 2D source of light. Presented as part of Design Scoops, new work by ten creatives from divergent creative fields, Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 September 2007 in Amsterdam. Appears to be a prototype.

Patent Pending Industries

I am quite happy with the ongoing shift in the world of graphic design back to earlier modern styles reminiscent of silk screen printing and block printing. A reworking of mid-century graphic themes is abounding in poster art and it's gorgeous. This can be seen in the work of Jeff Kleinsmith at Patent Pending Industries. These three posters are a small sample of his and the companies work, but they are beautiful.
