Ralph Bakker, from the Netherlands, is a jewelry designer who's work contains an array of patterns. While he does not talk about this as part of his inspiration or process, it is what I see when I look at his work. There is a dichotomy between chaos and control. It's as if he is using pattern to find sanity in an often insane world.
