Some great little space savers that can be folded, packed or collapsed. Includes a canvas bucket and grill among others.

Surrounding yourself in natural elements compliments a modern interior. Wool, glass, linen, ceramic, wood, leather... all of these objects have a warm feel to them that make home a great retreat.

These are a few of the fabulous items available at the Wright auction house and online store. For more amazing design, in color as well, see their web site.

What's old is new in eyeglasses. Allyn Scura offers a large selection of vintage eyeglasses as well as a throwback line they are producing currently. They carry both men's and women's styles and sunglasses too. You'll want to keep a constant eye on the site because they go quickly.

These cement planters from Pull + Push have a great modern architectural design to them that is all the more interesting due to the fact that they are each a little less than perfect. I think the are sublime.
Whether you're looking for a sculptural piece or jewelry storage and display, this Silver Manzanite Tree is stunning. What a fabulous addition to any decor.
I don't think I've featured a fountain until now, and it's not because I'm anti-fountain. I just think it's very hard to find interesting, well designed fountains. With every home goods store in the US selling low end fountains they all look pretty much the same, cheep. But this is an exception. The Falling Water Fountain is sharp looking and comes in this great blue but can be special ordered in other colors. It has a universal appeal that is modern, Zen, and would even fit in a traditional designed space.

These images are from Rose and Radish's most recent show entitled Round. Check out more images from the show and shop the store at their web site.

If you're looking for the most modern watches, Questo Design is the place to go. By most, we mean more modern than other watches and more of them than other stores. This place has a huge selection of fabulous modern timepieces. These are only a few, so visit the site for many more.

I like to throw a few curve balls in a modern interior. These pieces from Inside Avenue offer great opportunities to do that. Mix it up a bit.

Vessel USA Inc. has recently introduced Malcolm Leland’s X00 (zoo) industrial design bookends. This new design was inspired by Los Angeles’ famous historical American Cement Building on Wilshire Blvd. In 1961 Malcolm was commissioned by the architect to produce a sculptural façade made of reinforced concrete which had never been done before at that time. The 10 foot Xs’ were then cast one at a time and place in position creating a sculptural structure for the upper 13 story lofts and the lower half which is the parking garage. His sculptural design has been a part Los Angeles’ skyline since 1964.

Charles and Ray Eames were master of the interior "collage" with numerous objects brought back from their extensive travels. The figure of a black wooden bird - evidently one of their most prized objects of American folk art - has stood in the center of their living room for over fifty years. It appeared in many Eames photos including the very famous one above. Based on the original artifact and in cooperation with the Eames family, Vitra is now producing the first series of this figure. The Eames house bird is made from solid Alder with a black lacquer finish and steel wire legs.

I'm always looking for the perfect fireplace accessories for my house. These pieces are designed by Peter Maly and offer a nice alternative to what most stores are offering in modern fireplace tools. I love the wicker wrap on the handles and the fact that he has designed andirons as well. Click on the link for more of his pieces.
I love these little bird hooks. They are so sweet yet minimal at the same time. What a lovely burst of color for you space.
