Beautiful Gocco Printing

These gorgeous limited edition prints are the work of Bernadette Sipkes of Sugar Loop, an illustrator who lives in New Zealand. She was recently featured by Domino Magazine and her work has been selling like hotcakes. This printmaking is influenced by organic elements, mid-century design and the prints of Florence Broadhurst and, interestingly, was printed on a Gocco printer. These Japanese printers are a dream for anyone from kids to artist. Unfortunately they are getting harder to come by as the company is stopping production of them. There is a campaign called Save Gocco to try to keep them in production. Do us all a favor and visit the Save Gocco site so we can keep enjoying wonderful art such as this.
