For those of you who don't know, Ray Eames was the wife of Charles Eames and the other half of the Eames design team. She was a prolific photographer in addition to a the variety of design work she did. These images are part of a collection called Shelfscapes that she shot. I find them contemplative and beautiful. They are a small part of the 350,000 image collection the Eameses produced which is part of the Library of Congress. It is from this whole collection that images were chosen for the House Of Cards.
